Overview
The extensive Poiano Resort is located on the eastern bank of Lake Garda within a beautiful 60-hectare green park with olive trees. In addition to the Sunball tennis programme, there are numerous other activities and a first-class spa centre.
Accommodation
The following room categories are available for booking:
The elegant and comfortable double rooms have bath or shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, safe and balcony or patio. Rooms with lake views or for single use are available for a supplement.
The junior suites have similar facilities, but are somewhat larger and have an additional sleeping/seating area. Rooms with lake views bookable for a supplement.
The apartments are equipped as double rooms but have a separate bedroom, living room with double couch/bed and kitchenette. Larger apartments, with a second bedroom containing two single beds, are also available. There is a safety deposit of €200 for all apartments. Final cleaning, excluding the kitchenette, is included in the booking price, as are bedsheets and bathroom towels.
Tennis
The six optimally maintained red clay courts are located in a lovely natural setting within the resort. 4 courts have floodlights. There is a small tennis office for information, court bookings, racket stringing and equipment. About 1.5km away there is an indoor tennis hall with two clay courts (not connected to the Poiano Resort; please check directly for availability).
We have 3,4,5 and 6-day options for tennis fun and tennis intensive. Or we can tailor make a specific package for your individual or group needs!

Hotel + Facilities
The resort has a total of 280 residential units of differing sizes, contained within several two-storey buildings. Communal amenities include reception hall, TV room, two restaurants, panorama terrace, lobby bar, shop and free car parking. Wi-Fi access is available for an additional charge.
Within the extensive Mediterranean resort grounds you will find an Olympic-sized outdoor pool, separate children’s pool and a pool bar. There is a pretty sun terrace with panoramic views to Lake Garda, and its sun loungers and parasols are free to use. Towels are obtainable for a fee.
Sports and Entertainment
Free-of-charge activities at the resort include football, beach volleyball, archery, table tennis, water polo, water aerobics, basketball, volleyball, fitness room and boccia.
Mountain bike rental and diverse water sports activities are available from local vendors (separate charge). The nearest golf course is about 4km away. The amusement park Gardaland is about 15km away.
In the wellness centre (over-18s), which has an additional charge, you will find a sauna, hammam, steam bath, adventure showers and relaxation rooms, as well as various wellness and beauty treatments.
Occasionally there is live music as part of the evening entertainment.
For children there is a lovely adventure playground, separate swimming pool and a miniclub for 5-12 year-olds. Babysitting service subject to availability and additional charge.
