Itinerary

Welcome to Beijing where we will be met by our guide and transferred to our hotel. your Day is left at leisure to relax and unwind from the long journey. And in the evening, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner. Meals: (Dinner)

After breakfast we, start your day with our morning tennis sessions and competitive play (09:00-11:00). We enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before we set off this afternoon on a guided tour of Tian’anmen Square, an iconic landmark in Beijing. We continue to explore the majestic Forbidden City, home to centuries of Chinese imperial history. To finish off the day we take a stroll through the traditional Hutong area, immersing yourselves in its charming alleyways and local culture. But the day is not complete without a scrumptious dinner before transferring back to your hotel. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Straight after breakfast, it’s another invigorating tennis session and match play (09:00-11:00), followed lunch, and we embark again for an exciting excursion to the Juyongguan Great Wall, one of the most famous sections of the Great Wall of China, near Beijing. Take in the breathtaking views and marvel at the incredible engineering of this ancient wonder. As evening falls, visit the Olympic Stadium for a splendid night view and capture memorable photos. And again, an appetising dinner awaits, before returning to our hotel for a well-deserved rest. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

It is time to bid farewell to Beijing as you transfer from our hotel to Beijing Xi Train Station, to board the high-speed train to Xi’an, while we can marvel at the scenic landscapes along the way. Lunch can be bought onboard the train, or you can prepare some snacks for the journey. On arrival in Xi’an, we transfer to our hotel. There is just enough time to settle down and relax a little bit before we set off this afternoon for a two-hour tennis training session (tennis facilities are at the provincial stadium, about 8mins walk), sharpening our skills in a new setting. This evening is left at leisure to explore Xi’an at your leisure and savour the local cuisine. Meals: (Breakfast & Dinner)

Today it’s all about discovering the rich history of Xi’an with a tour of its iconic attractions. We start off visiting the Terra-Cotta Warriors, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a testament to China’s ancient civilization. Explore the Big Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist landmark, and admire its architectural beauty. We conclude the day with a visit to the well-preserved city wall, where you can take a leisurely walk and appreciate the panoramic views. And after all this, more tennis sessions of course (15:00-17:00). A delicious dinner is just what’s needed and an early night after a hard day’s work. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Start the day with a morning tennis training session at the provincial stadium, 8mins walk away from the hotel (09:00-11:00). Followed by a delicious lunch, and then we venture into the Muslim area of Xi’an to explore its vibrant culture and visit the Mosque. Your guide will help you arrange some of Xi’an’s famous snacks to take away, allowing you to experience the local flavours during your journey to Chengdu. In the evening, we transfer to Xi’an Bei Train Station to catch a high-speed train to Chengdu. On arrival in Chengdu, we transfer to our hotel and unwind from the day’s activities. Today is special! After breakfast we are off to discover the adorable giant pandas at the Panda Research Centre, where you can observe these gentle creatures up close and learn about the centre’s conservation efforts. We continue exploring Chengdu with a visit to Wenshu Temple, known for its serene ambiance and beautiful gardens. And in the afternoon of course, we have a two-hour tennis training session to keep up with your practice. For dinner, we have to Indulge in the local cuisine and savour its flavours. Begin the day with Start the day with a morning tennis session at the provincial stadium (09:00-11:00). Afterwards, we embark on a cultural tour of Chengdu, starting with a visit to Broad and Narrow Alley, filled with traditional architecture, quaint shops, and teahouses. Explore People’s Park, a popular gathering spot for locals, and stroll along Jinli Street, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and street food. In the evening, enjoy a captivating Sichuan opera show, featuring dazzling performances of music, dance, and face-changing acts. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today we bid farewell to Chengdu as you transfer from your hotel to the airport for a flight to Shanghai. On arrival, our guide will assist us with our transfer to your hotel. Depending on our flight schedule, we will have 2 hours tennis training session either in Shanghai or Chengdu. And again, depending on our flight schedule, we will enjoy a sumptuous lunch or dinner. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner)

It’s good morning, Shanghai, as we start the day with an invigorating 2-hours tennis session (09:00-11:00). We are ready to embark on a captivating tour of Shanghai’s old city town, Yu Garden Area. We’ll immerse ourselves in the history and culture of Shanghai as we explore its traditional architecture and vibrant food bazaar. We continue to the Bund area, where you can marvel at the historic colonial buildings and enjoy panoramic views of Shanghai’s modern skyline, including the Lujiazui Financial Area. After a delightful dinner, we return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. Meals (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner)

After breakfast, our schedule starts with a morning two-hour tennis training session (09:00-11:00), and then of course we set off further discover Shanghai with a tour of the Former French Concession Area, known for its elegant tree-lined streets and charming European-style mansions. We visit Fuxing Park, a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city, and explore the vibrant Tianzifang Art Zone, filled with galleries, boutiques, and cafes. We continue to People’s Square, the cultural and political centre of Shanghai, and explore the bustling East Nanjing Road, one of the city’s premier shopping destinations. We conclude the day and touring Shanghai with a visit to the iconic Shanghai Tower, ascending to its observation decks for a bird’s-eye view of the city. Finally, we are ready to savour a mouthwatering dinner before returning to our hotel. Meals (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner)

After breakfast, it is sadly time to say goodbye to Shanghai as our China Tennis Adventure come to a close. So, we transfer to the airport for return journey, taking with us cherished memories of the fascinating cities and sites we’ve explored, and our newfound friendships.

Xi’an Hotel

Situated on the north-south central axis of the ancient city of Xi’an and close to to the Jiaofu Temple and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area from the Tang Dynasty. It is also close to the Shaanxi History Museum, and the Art Museum. The hotel offers 24-hour front desk, restaurant, snack bar, business centre.

Located in the very heart of Chengdu, just a short drive from Shuangliu Sports Centre.
